Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, with reference to the covid-19 case rate in Herefordshire being listed as 160.3 per 100,000 in his oral contribution of 26 November 2020, Official Report, Column 999 and that rate being given as 145.2 on gov.uk for the week leading up to 20 November 2020, for what reason the county's infection rate was described as falling in his oral contribution of 26 November 2020 and on the gov.uk website.

The data referenced from ‘Coronavirus cases in England: 26 November 2020’ shows Hereford’s case rate from 13 to 19 November 2020 as 160.3 per 100,000. This data also shows that for the previous week, 6 to 12 November 2020, the case rate was 163.4 per 100,000. This is a rate change or decrease of -3.1 from the previous week.
