Question to the Northern Ireland Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, what recent discussions he has had with representatives of (a) EU member states and (b) political parties in Northern Ireland on the potential impact of the Northern Ireland Protocol on the upcoming Northern Ireland Assembly election.

I have regular discussions with Northern Ireland political leaders on Northern Ireland matters, including the Protocol and recently met with the Irish Minister for Foreign Affairs, Simon Coveney.

The people of Northern Ireland need a stable and accountable government as soon as possible.
