Question to the Northern Ireland Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, which policies under each arms length body reporting to their Department fall within the scope of the Environmental principles policy statement, published on 31 January 2023.
Answered by Steve Baker
My Department has a legal duty to have due regard to the Environmental Principles Policy, as it applies to Ministers when making policy and in some instances, arm’s length bodies may also develop policy for Ministers, however, the duty does not require either the Northern Ireland Office or its arm’s length bodies to maintain a comprehensive list of policies within the scope of the duty.

Question to the Northern Ireland Office:
To ask the Prime Minister, whether the contents of the Prime Minister's address to the nation on 10 May were (a) discussed and (b) decided in Cabinet prior to the recording of that address; and if he will make a statement.
Answered by Boris Johnson
I refer the Hon. Member to Sections 2.1 to 2.3 of the Ministerial Code. The Government’s approach to tackling the coronavirus emergency has been discussed and agreed in Cabinet and Ministerial Committees throughout.
