Question to the Department for Education:
To ask the Secretary of State for Education, what meetings her Department has had with trades unions in the last 12 months.
Answered by Nick Gibb
Ministers and officials regularly engage with trade unions on a range of issues. Such meetings over the past 12 months have included individual discussions with ministers and officials, and group discussions. These have included teacher, head teacher, and support staff unions, as well as other education employer groups and unions representing departmental staff. Since the start of this Parliament, the Secretary of State has met the General Secretaries of all the main teaching unions.
