Question to the Northern Ireland Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, what steps the Government is taking to tackle paramilitary activity in Northern Ireland.
Answered by James Brokenshire
The 2015 Fresh Start Agreement included a number of commitments to tackle paramilitary activity in Northern Ireland. This resulted in the NI Executive bringing forward an Action Plan. The UK Government is providing £25m in support of this. A Programme Board has been established to drive this work forward.
