Galileo System
Thursday 3rd May 2018

Asked by: Gavin Robinson (Democratic Unionist Party - Belfast East)

Question to the Department for Exiting the European Union :

To ask the Secretary of State for Exiting the European Union, what recent discussions he has had with the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy on the future of the UK's involvement in the Galileo programme.

Answered by Suella Braverman

The Secretary of State for Exiting the European Union has regular discussions with all Cabinet colleagues, including the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy.

The UK has made clear to our European partners our desire to continue the UK’s involvement in EU space programmes, including Galileo, provided that the UK, and UK companies, can continue to participate on a fair and open basis.
