Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health, what the latest diagnosis rate for dementia is in (a) England and (b) Wales; and if he will reintroduce the publication of a monthly update of such rates in England.
Answered by Jane Ellison
The monthly diagnosis rate, calculated on the basis of a monthly snapshot, for England was 61.6% at the end of March 2015. This is the latest monthly figure calculated by NHS England.
