Question to the Cabinet Office:

To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, what recent progress he has made on supporting social enterprises in providing public services.

Answered by Nick Hurd

We are opening up new opportunities whether it be the Transforming Rehabilitation programme or NCS.

We are making it easier to access finance through social investment, and we are providing practical support, such as through the Mutuals Support Programme.

We are delighted that public sector mutuals are now delivering over £1bn in contract value.
