Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, what steps he is taking to ensure that the planning systems helps to promote physical activity, including cycling and walking; what assessment he has made of the wellbeing benefits of such measures; and what assessment he has made of the potential savings to the public purse from public health improvements arising from such measures.
