to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:
To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, what recent discussions she has had with the Environment Agency on improving flood defences in (a) Lincoln and (b) Lincolnshire.

The Secretary of State regularly discusses progress with the delivery of the six year £2.3 billion flood defence capital investment programme with the Environment Agency. Within that programme, Lincoln has been allocated around £1.1 million and Lincolnshire over £164 million to develop a range of 72 flood and coastal erosion protection measures in the city and the county.

to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:
To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, how many flood defence schemes are planned to be built under the Government's flood defence programme.
Answered by Elizabeth Truss
Our 6 year flood defence programme, announced in December, includes more than 1,400 projects across the country. This £2.3 billion investment is a real terms increase and will mean 300,000 more homes will be better protected.

To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, how many UK food and drink products have protected status under European law.
Answered by George Eustice
There are currently 70 British food and drink products with protected status.
