Health Services: Women
Tuesday 9th June 2026

Asked by: Kirsteen Sullivan (Labour (Co-op) - Bathgate and Linlithgow)

Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what assessment he has made of the adequacy of the provision of health services for women.

Answered by Sharon Hodgson

We’re prioritising women’s health by ensuring women have access to high quality services. Our renewed Women’s Health strategy centres care around women’s voices and choices, driving faster service improvements and tackling health inequalities, so women can live healthier and more prosperous lives. For the first time, women’s feedback, including on their experiences, will be collected and used to shape improvements to services.
