Asked by: Lucy Powell (Labour (Co-op) - Manchester Central)

Question to the Cabinet Office:

To ask the Prime Minister, pursuant to her oral Answer of Wednesday 15 November 2017, Official Report, column 366, when she plans to announce the amount of funding which will be allocated to Greater Manchester to manage the aftermath of the terrorist attack at the Manchester Arena; and when she plans to make that funding available.

Answered by Baroness May of Maidenhead

I promised in the wake of the appalling atrocity in Manchester that this Government would do all it can to help victims recover and the city to heal. A taskforce has been established within the Cabinet Office to oversee progress and expedite payments when necessary to ensure that Manchester gets the financial support it needs.
