Question to the Department for Education:

To ask the Secretary of State for Education, whether the Education Funding Agency has completed its purchase of 1 The Embankment, Neville Street, Leeds LS1 4DW.

Answered by Nick Gibb

The Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) did not complete the purchase of 1 The Embankment, Neville Street, Leeds LS1 4DW because planning permission was not granted by Leeds City Council. In agreement with the Free School Trust, the ESFA is now seeking to secure a suitable site within Wakefield.
