Question to the HM Treasury:

To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, what the date was of each meeting of the Finance Quad in each calendar year from 2010; which Ministers from the (a) Government and (b) devolved administrations took part in each such meeting; what the agenda was for each such meeting; and what other topics were discussed at each such meeting.

In this Parliament, the Finance Ministers’ Quadrilateral met on the following dates:

15 July and 15 September 2010

14 July 2011

5 March and 8 November 2012

3 June and 18 November 2013

The agenda for Finance Quadrilateral meetings typically covers an update on the UK economy and the circumstances of each of the devolved administrations, as well as examining practical and technical arrangements relating to devolved funding. A list of agenda items covered at each meeting is included in the Annual Reports of the Joint Ministerial Committee.

Treasury Ministers and Finance Ministers from each of the devolved administrations also maintain regular contact throughout the year covering a range of matters of mutual interest
