Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health, what discussions he has had with the devolved Government in Scotland on the contaminated blood inquiry.

I had a teleconference on Wednesday 19 July with Shona Robison MSP, the Scottish Government Cabinet Secretary for Health and Sport.

The Government is committed to consulting the devolved administrations on the contaminated blood inquiry. United Kingdom Government officials are in regular contact with officials in the devolved administrations about the inquiry.
