To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what estimate she has made of the proportion of gun crime committed by Firearms and Shotgun Certificate holders in the last 10 years.

Answered by Nick Hurd

The Home Office holds information on the number of offences involving a firearm recorded by the police in England and Wales. It is not possible to tell from this information whether the offence was carried out by a firearm or shotgun certificate holder.
