Question to the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport:
To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, what steps she is taking to ensure social media companies tackle cyber bullying.
Answered by Matt Hancock
The Government expects social media companies, and internet platforms, to have robust processes in place and to act promptly when all forms of abuse, including cyber bullying is reported. That includes acting quickly to removing inappropriate content, and where appropriate, suspending or terminating the accounts of those breaching the rules in place. We are continuing to work closely with industry, including social media companies, charities, schools and parents to tackle this serious issue.

To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, what recent discussions she has had with the Scottish Government on celebrating the bicentenary of the architect Alexander Thomson.
Answered by Tracey Crouch
The Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport has regular discussions with the Scottish Government on a range of matters but she has had none recently specifically regarding the Bicentenary of Alexander Thomson. Heritage and Culture is a devolved matter and Architectural policy sits with DCLG.
DCMS Officials are aware that the Scotland Office have been in discussions with the Alexander Greek Society about a reception at Dover House to celebrate the Bicentenary of the great Scottish Architect.

Question to the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport:
To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, what steps her Department is taking to promote tourism in Scotland.
Answered by Tracey Crouch
Tourism is a devolved matter but a number of policy levers - from aviation connectivity to aspects of the regulatory framework and immigration - are reserved. Through the recently published Tourism Action Plan, this Government is working to ensure the benefits of growth in the tourism industry can be felt across the whole of the UK.
