Question to the Department for International Development:

To ask the Secretary of State for International Development, what childcare facilities her Department makes available for its staff; how much her Department spent (a) overall and (b) per child on those facilities in the last 12 months; and how many of her Department's staff use those facilities.

DFID has 2 HQ buildings in the UK, one in Whitehall and one in East Kilbride. Neither building provides childcare facilities however DFID operates the Childcare Voucher scheme to assist parents of young children with the cost of nursery and after school placements.
