To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, how many local authorities have declared an air quality management area.

Across the UK, 259 local authorities have declared Air Quality Management Areas (AQMAs). The breakdown by pollutants and region is provided on the UK-AIR website: https://uk-air.defra.gov.uk/aqma/list.
