Make it compulsory to offer a Vegan option in KS1 free school meals.

Currently schools will provide meals for children, who are following vegetarian diets, have allergies and avoid foods due to faith, but they do not provide a Vegan option and some Children who wish to follow a vegan diet are not able to. It should be law that schools provide vegan options.

Some schools will accommodate and adjust meals for vegan children, this is not standard in all schools and some parents are told to provide packed lunches, Schools will provide a vegetarian and meat option, excluding vegan children from participating in school dinners. Children should have the choice to be able to choose a vegan option on the menu, everyday. No child should ever feel left out because of a life choice they have made, veganism should be widely accessible to all children.
