Increase Police Funding & the Number of Police Community Support Officers.

Between September 2016 and September 2017 the recorded crime rose across the UK by nearly 15%, with a rise of 21% in knife crime, a massive 32% rise in domestic burglary and an 18% increase in vehicle-related crimes. National police officer numbers have fallen to the lowest level in more than three decades. The statistics clearly show that the rise in crime in recent years is a national problem that requires national solutions. It is a proven fact that police presence reduces crime.
