NHS doctors and dentists should receive a payrise of at least 3% in 2018.

All NHS staff get a payrise of at least 6.5% (and up to 29%) over the next 3 years except doctors and dentists. Since 2008, doctors have experienced the largest drop in earnings of all professions, with consultants seeing a 19 per cent fall in pay, junior doctors 21 per cent and GPs 20 per cent.
