Training should be required for social services, police, courts, doctors and child psychologists, so people can understand what victims have been through and give the support needed.

The mental health side effects can take a long time to heal, parents need help for themselves as the narcissist will still use manipulation on them and those around them to alienate them from support. The children need extra support networks, if they still visit the other parent, safeguarding issues need to be checked to see if the manipulation can be counteracted or children need no contact.
