Wigan UTC have announced they are closing their doors on our children’s education August 2019 These children have worked hard , they was promised an education they was promised passes on their exams.,they was promised b techs in certain special subjects, now to be told it’s not happening !

These kids have worked hard to get where they have. They have dropped subjects and took up alternative subjects like engineering. Sports science health and social , if they are forced into a mainstream school this will set them back a year and counts for nothing as they are taught in a different curriculum so will have to redo the year They need to finish what utc have started. Let them sit their exams it’s stressful enough without all this added to it !
