Although we, as individuals, often try our hardest to reduce our carbon footprint, the UK government allows large companies and countries such as China to continue polluting the planet and get away with it.

We need to place our planet over profit.
It is clear that our government, as well as governments across the world value profit over our planet.
If the UK were to place trade sanctions on countries such as China, the US, India, Russia and Japan (the top 5 most polluting countries) and fine the most polluting companies in the UK, perhaps they would be incentivised to make a change.
How can the UK allow China, the country with the largest economy, to continue burning fossil fuels when they have the economic means to invest in new technology?
