'Georges Law' to protect Vulnerable Adults and the Elderly

My Dad, George Stenhouse, lacked mental capacity due to a rapid brain disease. He needed 24-hour one-to-one care. The agency carer abused my Dad in a terrible way. Introduce 5-year minimum sentences for the assault, ill-treatment or wilful neglect of someone in your care.

We caught the assault on camera, but when the carer pleaded guilty he was only sentenced to 9 months and was told he would only serve half. He had previous crimes too. I believe 'George's Law' will help other families in this situation. It is happening far too often and the carers and care providers who have even been caught red-handed seem to be getting off with light sentence. This needs to change to protect the vulnerable and elderly. Please help to change the law.
