Currently UK Meat Labelling Legislation only requires pre-packaged raw Beef/Veal to provide details of Approved Abattoir codes on labels (or made availble on request of consumer). This is not mandated for raw Lamb/Poultry/Waterfowl but should allowing full traceabilty for consumers.
