DVLA have recently changed the classification of a Campervan conversion which used to be under the classification of Motorhome, now all Campervan’s are being rejected and classified as a van with side windows - this is unacceptable and deserves the right to to have its own classification.

We recently bought and Campervan and sent off for the reclassification and was rejected due to it looking like a van - it’s hardly your everyday van!
Apppreciate that the police need to be able to identify a vehicle if stolen but a van with side windows it is not.
Many Campervan’s have pop top roofs bike racks and are styled - therefore relating to nothing that a van with windows would look like - oh and they also have a kitchen, bed etc.
