The UK has failed in our duty to protect the people of Hong Kong from the Chinese communist party. To rectify this today is, we must grant full UK citizenship to the people of Hong Kong. An attack on them is an attack on all of us. Our island should be a sanctuary for HK dissenters.

With the ability to easily relocate elsewhere, dissenting voices in Hong Kong will be more able to speak out against the abuses of the Chinese communist party and all who do their bidding.
The UK grew rich on the back of colonialism, and many of the older generation in Hong Kong in particular grew up believing that we have a special relationship wherein their economic contribution would be rewarded with protection against Beijing. We owe them all better than to stand by and do nothing.
