Lower the legal maximum volume off all emergency vehicles to 95dB

I have autism and loud noises aren't just a botherance to me, it's painful and leave me in a vulnerable depressed state, often unable to speak for quite some time, this is a sensory overload. I understand why they are necessary, I just don't believe they need to be this loud.

Exposure to sounds at or above 85 decibels (approximately the level of a vacuum cleaner) can cause hearing loss. - hearsmart.org

The dB is a logarithmic unit based on base 10 meaning a sound at 50 dB is noticeably twice as loud as 40dB

This means a sound of 125dB is noticeably 16 times louder than 85dB(the noise level which hearing damage can start)

If sirens were limited to 95dB it would have much less of a negative effect on the public yet still be just as effective as clearing the road
