Inquiry into CAFCASS & Domestic Abuse

The current review into the family court is of a narrow focus and does not focus specifically on the issues faced by survivor families dealing with CAFCASS. Survivors nationwide are reporting negligent treatment and we demand a separate inquiry.

CAFCASS have exceptional levels of influence in how cases are resolved within the family court system and are currently not being held accountable to issues arising for survivor families within the wider family cout system.
Much of the testimony from the survivor community about how they and their children have been put at risk are as a direct result of CAFCASS decisions and recommendations to the court which are largely followed. We are demanding they are subject to an inquiry.
