Prisoners should serve the FULL sentence given. So many prisoners are let out half way through their sentence and not serving the full time. this is just wrong. if they get 6 years then they should serve 6 years, where's the justice in this country

my partner of 18 years, father of my children, was killed 1 year ago and the perpetrator was given just under a 6 year sentence and we have been told by the police that's he's likely to only serve half. with all the immense pain we are going through, we feel cheated by this low sentence let alone only serving half, this is not justice. please help
