More than a week since started, the demonstrations of thousands of young protesters in Iraq, practicing their constitutional right to protest peacefully against corruption, unemployment & poor national services, have been faced with a brutal iron fist by security forces & militias . The reported death toll has exceeded 100 civilian protesters. The internet was shut down & independent TV stations were attacked.
