Abolish the benefit in kind tax for company cars when its essential for the job

Please consider this with a view to engineers who cannot return their vehicle to the company car park each night due to the distances travelled. I personally can not perform my job without a company car as I constantly travel around UK to customers sites. Without a car I cannot work in my employment

This is an unfair tax that was introduced to recover tax from employers that only get a car to travel to and from the office , as a 'perk' to their post. The tax has been applied to all company vehicles with no consideration of the circumstances and so is unfair to expect employees who cannot perform their job without a car to pay BIK tax.
