Increase the rate of minimum wage for 16 year olds from £4.35 to at least £6.00

I want the government to increase the rate of minimum hourly work wage to at least a wage that is liveable on. The current minimum wage for those under 18 years of age is £4.35, an amount that is not enough to support ones self. Minimum wage for 18-20 years old is also only £6.15.

I would like the government to change this as I believe it is unfair for young people to be paid less money than someone older than them, even if it is the same jobs with the same hours.
I understand the factor of paying National Insurance for over 18 year olds, but if the same rate of work is being done, is it still not fair.
Many jobs still work 16 year old very hard and are able to take the minimum wage for granted.
