Provide an Emergency fund for Health & Social Care Providers due to COVID-19

We wish for the UK Government to not only provide financial support for the NHS but to actually take on board the massive, complex and costly challenges facing private Health & Social Care providers. We wish for an emergency supplement for each service user supported to tackle the increased costs.

We are facing an unknown, costly and challenging period. Increased staffing costs, staffing shortages, increased management requirements, huge price increases for PPE, sanitiser, cleaning products, essential food items and in a lot of cases no access to these products at all. The Government have expressed publicly their commitment to the NHS getting whatever it needs to meet the Coronavirus Challenges, however Care Homes, Care Agencies and Supported Living Services need urgent crisis funding!
