Create an easy process for the Self-Employed to have their Jan 2020 Tax Payment On Account returned to them, in light of loss of projected income from Covid 19.

In Jan 2020, as we were unaware that Covid-19 was going to damage our work, we all gave HMRC our 1st payment on account for YE2020.
Had we known that work for Feb-March-April was going to be cancelled, we could have applied to reduce this payment on account.
I am petitioning the government to create an easy process for having that money returned to the self-employed.
This will help them get through the next 12 weeks of cancelled work.
