The duty on alcohol served in pubs, bars and restaurants (as opposed to drink at home) should be temporarily suspended (suggest for two weeks) once the Convid-19 pandemic is under control

The surviving pubs, bars and restaurants will be desperate for foot-fall once we're through the restrictions and life returns to normal. A temporary suspension of alcohol duty would get people through the doors and get the feel-good factor back for the whole country
