The Government should recognise the impact of the combination of home-working and school-working by funding paid leave for all employed parents of school aged children.

Employers should be required to offer 100% paid leave to a parent(s) in order to home-school their child/children, and the Government should reimburse costs to employers. This would enable parents to take on or share homeschooling responsibilities, and prevent any financial disadvantage that parents of school aged children could otherwise experience.
