The Covid-19 pandemic has shown this country the necessity of key workers, who are for the most part completely uncelebrated. The Government should create and provide funding for a day on which key workers of this country are officially recognised and thanked for their services to the public.

Until now, the key workers of this country are often overlooked, underpaid and treated as unimportant. This day is needed to make sure the workers of this country who have singlehandedly rescued this country from what would have been a disaster know how valued they are.
