I want legislation to be passed enabling the NHS to set its priorities and budget for each year and for it to be a legal requirement on the government of the day to fully fund and enact the priorities so set.

We have all discovered the potentially lethal consequences of regular underfunding of the NHS. The only way to ensure this does not happen again in the future is to remove the funding and prioritising of the NHS from the hands of politicians.
