Cap UK university fees by a quarter for the academic year due to COVID-19.

All UK UG and PG students should be reimbursed a quarter of tuition fees for this academic year 2019/2020. This quarter will make up a proportion of the tuition fees covering the Summer term. Due to COVID-19, universities are now offering online tuition only.

Site closures have resulted in limited available resources. Although universities are trying their best, closed university sites will no longer need the funding to support utility bills and student resources without students to make use of facilities.

It is essential to allow the university to build itself back up so that many more students will be able to learn and thrive. However, paying the full amount of tuition fees for an academic year which has been significantly affected is unnecessary.
