Ban the sale of disposable barbecues.

Each year supermarkets push the sale of cheap disposable barbecues. These are frequently taken to be used in parks and greenspaces, often without the landowners permission. In many cases, having already scorched the ground below these barbecues are frequently left giving rise to wild fires.

In an age where resources are increasingly scarce and the rising odds of our society being locked into runaway climate change, we cannot afford to allow for habitat destruction caused by the irresponsible use of disposable barbecues. People shouldn't be able to walk into a shop to buy what in effect is a wild fire kit for around £5. If people want to barbecue they should only be able to use facilities provided by a landowner's good grace or use a more sustainable model at home.
