We request to be consulted and vote democratically on decisions for funding and bailing out large privately owned corporations. We want assurances that private corporations will need public approval prior to Government financial support.

The British Public want assurances from the Government that individual companies will not be bailed out without a public vote. It is of great concern that privately owned businesses would be and are able to request bailouts from the Government, and such businesses can be funded by taxpayers without public consultation or consent. It is not acceptable for the UK Government to make decisions that have far reaching financial impacts on taxpayers without public approval and consultation.
