Parliament must protect employees who are forced to “apply for their own job”. In this system, employers dismiss all or most staff then re-employ them under different and far less favourable conditions.

Government and Parliament should take firm action to prevent any employer from using this method to bully their staff, by guaranteeing existing rights for anyone who is reemployed by a company after being made redundant We should all be following the obvious way forward by pulling together and not using old methods to divide and rule.
