I would like it to be law that every workplace no matter how small or large should have dedicated Mental Health First Aiders, like Medical First Aiders, to support employees in the workplace and be trained specifically on supporting employees.

I would like this to be implemented as the COVID-19 crisis will affect people everywhere in some way and in my view, it’s important for employers and businesses to support their employees the whole way through, even after we go back to our new normal and going forward.
As well as this, this would take pressures off the NHS as the UK will likely have a surge in mental health patients/issues in the aftermath of COVID-19 so local support, like at work will help get people out the other side.
