The United Kingdom is known to be a world leader in animal welfare and consumer rights. There have been cases where cat/dog/donkey fur has been found but passed off as faux fur or another animal. This should help prevent illegal imports of cat and dog fur.

We as consumers have the right to make informed choices when we purchase goods, that includes how that purchase was derived.
