The DfE to produce a standardised application form for teaching jobs

All schools have their own application form. One provided by the governement would ensure consistency across the board and would save teachers applying for positions hours in editing documents. In the last month I have filled out forms all asking for qualifications but one wanted the year, one wanted dd/mm/yy, one wanted mm/yyyy etc having a stock application form would mean prospective candidates can concentrate on personal statements.
