Thanks to ANPR improvement since 2016, we feel it is now time for front facing registration plate to be removed.

With improved ANPR technology we believe there is now no need for a front facing plate. Furthermore, as headlights become brighter the reflective properties of the strip can be dazzling to oncoming road users.

Furthermore, with car design changing to incorporate more frontal safety features, the removal of the plate should give manufacturers more freedom to design safer technology.
