Allow more school pupils to repeat an academic year due to COVID-19 lockdown.

Schooling provides essential learning and when schools close, children and youth are deprived opportunities for growth and development. The disadvantages are disproportionate for under-privileged learners... (Quote taken from the UNESCO website).

If repeating a year was made more accessible & became more common, the issues over the impact to self confidence would be reduced. Thousands of children’s future would be brighter. Especially those young in an academic year, vulnerable or with SEN.
